  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
Hi everyone,

I set up Retropie on my Raspberry pi 2 Model B, I have multiple emulators but the controllers only work with MAME, I can't play any of the other emulators because there is no function on any other joysticks or buttons. i did some research and there should be a " configs " folder, but it doesn't show in my installation.

Can anyone tell me how to map the xin mo dual joysticks controllers with Sega Megadrive, Nintendo and the other emulators?

Thanks.

Assuming you're using retropie.  There should be an option in retropie setup menu to load up retroarch gui.  From within there I believe you can configure your controls from the input menu, that should configure all your emulators I think.  You can check the controls in /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg.  One time I configured mine I think I had to delete this retroarch.cfg file and start again.

Thanks for your help, yes, I'm using Retropie, I did configure the controllers but the weird thing is that i do not see any " configs " directory in the server when I tried accessing the pi using ftp, for what I understand, this folder gets generated after you st up your controls, but I do not see it, so for this reason, I cannot find the file " retroarch.cfg ".

can I create this directory manually and maybe paste someone's retroarch.cfg configuration into mine?

thanks.

Try sudo find - name "retroarch.cfg" just to make sure...
