I'm looking for software recommendations. I need a utility that will poll and return the specs on a computer. I used to use Everest years ago but they've changed a LOT and I am looking for something different. * It needs to be portable, able to run off a USB drive is best * Freeware or Open Source * Needs to be either a Windows program or a self booting app Any ideas? |

Speccy is decent and the free version provides most info (not sure how much the paid version adds) Just be sure to uncheck the Google add-in install that is part of the download and turned on by default !! https://www.piriform.com/speccy |
