Need information on Monitors
Andy Geez:
Yes it is automatic, so you don't have to switch off, that be the point of automatic! ;)
Another thing, you wouldn't need 2 different .rc files either, just create the modes with advv.exe and create the standard res modes 320x240 and so on and the med res ones 512x384, 512x400 and so on.
Works a treat..
One point, you'll have about zero chance of buying one in the US, US like to buy US products, not European products.
Your best bet is to buy the Wells Gardner D9200 which is a similar price..

I guess you live in UK. I looked at the WGd9200 but it seems like its the same thing what I'm after. I needed something like the POLO. One connection and will auto switch to iether 15,25 khz or even the 31khz. I dunno if the d9200 is like that.
This is what exactly I wanted to do....The game NARC it used Med Res and palying it the Standard, the image will have to be shrink. So with a POLO this might take care of that problem when it switches to 25khz, the image should be better compared to 15khz. Any idea you have would diffenately appreciated. Thnx
Andy Geez:
To my Knowledge the WG9200 is very similiar to PC monitors and supports automatic switching..
You do know with the BladeT64 from Andy (www.ultimarc.com) you'll be able to play Narc at 640x400 at 57fps on a Standard Res monitor?? I can take a few photos if you want to see how the quality looks.
You can probably import a Hantarex over from Europe, the monitor weighs around 25kg so you'd be looking at around $150 USD I should think. They do 2 power rated version 100 -120VAC and 220 -240VAC.
Cheers
Andy
