Rowe Ami R85 jukebox freeplay
« on: April 11, 2016, 06:27:18 pm »
I recently bought a R85 jukebox and I want to convert it to freeplay. The metal cover inside for the coins is missing but the switch mechanism for the coins is still there.
Is there a way to splice some wires into this switch connector and put a remote switch on the back of the jukebox so I can select the credits manually.
I do not have a wiring diagram to work it out.
Regards Felix

I think all you need to do is set the test/norm switch to Test on the CCC for continuous free play.  At least that's how I remember doing it on the R86.  I'm not sure if the R85 is much different.  It's worth a try.

That is correct on the R-84 to R-88 jukeboxes (includes RI-3, RI-4, RI-5, CTI-2 and CTI-3) the R-89 to R-94 free play needs to be set in programming.
