I think I might have figured out the issues I was having.  onto a different issue,  I'm trying to test out house of the dead 4 with teknoparrot and apparently it's a well known issue, but no matter how or what keys I assign to the controller setup I can't get the p1 and p2 start buttons to work so I can't even test to see if demulshooter is working cause I can't get any signed keys to work.  anyone know a fix?  I wish you could assign keys within RH loader

I got P1 working but currently have the P2 firing the P1 gun problem. Other than that its running great so far. I am using 339 gameloader -
'Loader 1 settings' - resolution set to my monitor for FS. Then using TP 226 for button mapping with the following settings in pic below.
Also have DemulShooter and Mousefix launched before starting game. Be sure to uncheck UseMouseForGun… you lose mapped controls if you have it checked.
If you can figure out the 2P issue please share.

Have an old problem here I never figured out that I would like to fix.... can someone tell me how to get fix the Ninja Assault reload off screen issue??
Using the newest demulshooter and all other demul games work fine. Using Demul 07a 180428 specifically for gun games. Perhaps its the rom version I am using?? (ninjaslt)

Hi All, another n00b question here.

I have the aimtrack and can get that to work fine, but I am having trouble running it in conjunction with demulshooter. If I use the aimtrack without it, I can play games on demul fine (although of course without the benefits of DS), and I can get demulshooter to load independently, but it's like demulshooter doesn't recognise the Aimtraks inputs?

I can select it's item ID from the dropdown in DSDiag or the Config menu, but it never actually registers anything in the ds_diag test, - no clicks, etc, so if I open a game via a demulshooter command prompt, I can't actually aim/select anything. Also a weird side effect is when I exit, my regular mouse stops behaving correctly, double left click opens properties, etc - not really my priority but I figure it's related.

I feel like I have to be missing something insanely obvious, like there is some rawinput/xinput option that is set wrong, but I can't find anywhere that jumps out - I've gone through the config instructions a bunch of times, and I don't know if I am having screen blindness to something glaringly obvious or what. I also have DS installed in the root folder of Demul, don't know if that makes a difference either

Any help would be massively appreciated!

edit: ignore this, I was somehow mixing up 2 similar hardware IDs and somehow never picked up on it - genuinely idiotic!

Argon can you take a look at this log for hotd4... P2 controls P1 fire, grenade, and reload. The log is just a snippet as its too long to post here. If need the full log I can send to you.

Full log is not needed, usefull information are mostly at the beginning

Everything is OK in your Log, I can just assume that DemulShooter is not correctly hooking the game. But I don't know why.

Try without Gameloader in windowed mode, and make sure you didn't check " use mouse for gun" in Teknoparrot

i can't get my wiimote to shoot but gernades work fine what is causing this

Argon came out a new version of TP, with the new game Luigis Mansion Arcade, I know he will only change when he is no longer patreon, but 2 games are not working with the demulshooter, would be HOTD4 and Lets Go Jungle, all others including Transformers are operating normally.

Yes, as usual and as I explained many times: Lindbergh compatibility is broken with every new build because of the way the game is loased in memory (like all other emulators)

Ring games are always working because they are Windows executable, and I can target them directly

Could anyone maybe provide some help for model 2 ,I tried with newest version and now trying with 7.6 as github suggests.  it recognizes both aimtrak guns as player 1 cause I see two red cursors in hotd and I think the issue much like with other emulators is the demulshooter isn't hooking with M2 emulator but I have both demulshooter and M2 emulator set to run as administrator, i don't think it's my settings in the ini cause both guns are recognized just both as player 1

found out I needed to open the emulator_multicpu.exe not the normal EMULATOR.exe , on to a different emulator if anyone else knows there issue,  but I'm trying to use demulshooter with demul but everytime I open hotd 2 demul closes including demulshooter so I don't think it's a hooking issue, any help?  opening demul without demulshooter loads the game fine but like expected both guns are p1

hi @argonlefou, hope you will find a workaround to avoid this behaviour in the futur..

 it must be really boring for you, if you must re-adapt the code each time a new version  of TP is released......

You can't, usb2gun maps hardware to simple joystick
You have to plug RawInput device or Xinput device to use DemulShooter

I know this is offtopic, but does anybody know how to play the gunandfrenzy mod for quake on windows 10? It uses an HTML+JavaScript launcher that seems to need a very old explorer version, as I understand
I suppose it can be done in a virtual machine, but as it replug the inputs on the host, it messes my guns Ids

can I get some help with silent Hill arcade,  I've set the p2 start inside if demulshooter which works,  I am trying using the nocursor.exe but when I get into the game I actually do see two cursors but the trigger in my second aimtrak doesn't shoot the second gun in game.  only player 1 works as it should.  demulshooter has been working with other games and is already set to run as admin and I set but the regular and no cursor exe to run as admin as well but nothing makes the second gun shoot. incidentally running the exe as expected makes both aimtrak gun triggers just shoot the p1 gun in game as expected

Can I get some help with CXBX reloaded,  trying to finally get virtua cop 3 working with both aimtrak guns, on the demulshooter github step 1 says set both xbox port 0 to direct input port 0, but there's only 4 ports from 0 to 3, there isn't two port 0's

that's the one I use and got perfectly working with virtua cop 3, just remember per the instructions for demulshooter to have it windowed

This happens with the DolpinBar when you connect a nunchuck. It's a silly feature imo and there isn't anything online about how to reverse it.

Yes, I´m using it with Dolphin Bar, in MAME for example I just invert the buttons and it works fine, I just asked for an option in DemulShooter (if it is possible) to invert the mouse buttons, so it can be used normally in the rest of the emulators, as I do now in MAME.

Why not just invert here?

You´re right I already invert them in MAME for example. But in Demul for example, I can´t invert the mouse buttons.

Can someone please help or point me in the right direction.  Now that I have most of the shooters minus silent Hill working with 2 players with demulshooter,  I want a nice clean front end where all the games area organized.  I have launchbox/big box and I'm wondering if there's a way to assign each game an executable command for command prompt to run for each said game when selecting it so that demulshooter can be executed right away when I go from game to game. I can't find much of an answer online.

No because far cry paradise dump is not working.
You have to use some hack to keep playing after a Game Over, this j=hack is closing and reloading the process, thus closing demulshooter

Thanks Argon for this awesome software.  I'm currently using the  alien dehasped.exe and noticed the flame thrower and gun trigger shares the same button, also the gernade button does not work.  Is this normal?  If they do work, ill revisit my setup.  thanks again.

It's not normal, the normal behavior is shoot/grenade on 2 different buttons (left and missle click) and flamethrower not mapped
