Indeed, I was asked to make some changes on how guns ID are saved in the config file.
People tested a lot of guns to assure me that it would have no impact.
But they didn't test with aliens gun and murphy's law did the rest.

Just curious if there is any consideration of adding your custom outputs to mame now that it's Sega Model 2 emulation has improved so much?
I know MAMEdevs won't add outputs that aren't authentic.

Ah, that's a good point !
I actually ported those Model2 outputs to be used with MAME when they first released 0.278 with Model2 game support.
But as it was not DemulShooter related, I shared it to some people for testing but never really advertised for it....
Just download and use the zip package I'm joining in below (there's a Readme inside explaining everything)
These are simple LUA scripts to be used with MAME to create outputs, DemulSHooter is not needed for that.

I thought that using LUA might be a possibility, as you have the cheat system for finding memory location in MAME already with many cheats already pinpointing needed memory locations.
I was looking at the MAME documentation last night but wasn't sure about outputting the messages and I haven't used LUA yet.

Hello! It's been some months since I asked about how to use demulshooter with Wiimotes. I found a program called Lichtknarre which converts the inputs so it was recognized in Demulshooter. I can finally play some games in a proper way.
I have a question now, about the Chihiro games (Virtua Cop 3, House of The Dead 3 and Ghost Squad). I have played in old CXBX version with crosshair, but it seem the build Chihiro-DS has a better performance.
Using Demulshooter, it hides the crosshair. And using Wiimotes, it's hard to play without a crosshair, since it's not so precise. Is there a way to restore the crosshair in Chihiro-DS?
