Argon I usually use Teknoparrot for those specific light gun games but I can't get controls to work at all for one game, Point Blank X. So I'm using Demulshooter but 5 is not working to enter coins? 1 is working for start it says coin error. I am also unable to get into any test menus. I did copy the content of Point Blank X to where the .exe is, but I'm confused about your instructions

Edit the newly copied Setting.ini file (located in PBX100-2-NA-MPR0-A63_Data\ subdirectory of the game) to your needs. Available options and values are written in the ini file.

I don't really know how to edit that .ini? It looks like this

CONTROLLER 1 # 0=BNUsio 1=Simulated

GUNPORT 3 # COM port for Gun board

TICKET 0 # 0=Disabled, 1=Enabled

MAIN_PATH ./NVRAM/ # Main save location

BACKUP_PATH ./NVRAM/ # Backup save location

LANGUAGE en-US, ja-JP,zh-CN,ko-KR,es-ES,pt-BR,th-TH,ru-RU,id-ID # language at the first is default

I don't know how to change anything in this can you help?

Edit: I realize now backspace is test menu and I was able to disable coins, however it seems demulshooter is not hooking because it's red and my wiimote doesn't seem calibrated. I copied all of the files of Demulshooter 16.2 and put them where the .exe is and here is my script

Run, DemulShooter.exe -target=es4 -rom=pblankx
run, PBX100-2-NA-MPR0-A63.exe

I tried running Demulshooter.exe as administrator but Demulshooter is still red not green?

Edit 2: Now that I figured out how to disable coins in test menu the game is fully working in Teknoparrot.

This is a simple text file, just change whatever setting you need to be changed
What's after the '#' signs are comments, so just change the setting before like

if you want Spanish laguage by default

Backspace key was listed in the game wiki page
As for DS not hooking the game,  it can be many things but a demulshooter log would be a good starting point to see if something obviopus is going on
And, as I usually said, trying to get things running directly without using AHK scripts or BAT or frontend is also a good starting point as those scripts/tools can add a layer of possible errors....

Not a Demulshooter issue per say but Police Trainer 2 is broken in newer versions of Teknoparrot it throws an error and won't boot. I've been searching for a Teknoparrot emulator version that is about 6 months to a year old but can't find any on google the only one on the official website is actually too old Police Trainer 2 isn't even in the list of games it's from 2023. Does anyone happen to have a Teknoparrot this old that's not updated that you could upload somewhere?

On Chihiro_DS 1.0 Virtua Cop 3 works okay and Ghost Squad appeared to the graphics were perfect in the menus and I could shoot with my Wiimote but as soon as I get into actual gameplay the characters are all black and I can't shoot them?

Hi Argon, I just tested v17.1 and for some reason my p1 Alien gun is not being recognized in the GUI (the device drag down). Only my p2 gun is recognized. Same with version 17.0. However, both my p1 and p2 alien mounted analog guns are being recognized in v16.4 GUI and before. So I assume there is some kind of bug in the latest version, or maybe i'm doing something wrong. Thanks in advance.
Update: It’s not a p1 vs p2 issue. It appears the GUI will only recognize one alien gun at a time. When both are plugged in, only one is recognized in the device drop down list.
