If you're replying to a troll you are part of the problem.
I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

On a serious note, I can get Jap Super Famicom’s for about £20 (console only) about £50 for a full set up but god knows how much shipping would be!

Had another stroke of luck this morning.

Picked up a “spares or repair” justifier for the MD £8 posted with a box (bit damaged but not going to moan for £8!)

And it works! Quids in :D

I finally took the plunge and got everything up stairs (mame cab inc) and stuff out of the loft.

And I picked up a Saturn to round off my collection the other day.

Just not sure where the hell I am going to put it at the moment....

Wall turned out nice.

You need a better way to display your consoles and make them playable at a moment's notice.  Ditch the IKEA cube.

What about building a retail style false slat-wall with 1x2 backing so you could put the consoles on shelves, run wires behind the wall, and build some kind of a classy switch setup to toggle between the systems?  If you wanted to get fancy, you could do soft LED lighting for all the consoles but that had a 'spotlight' effect on the currently selected console...

Not the right color, but...

Mike

You can't truly know how something works until you've ruined it by taking it apart.

Yeah that shelving would be good. Most of the consoles are in the cupboard under the CRT  but they are all connected via 2 switches a 8 & 4 way so I can play any of them at the press of a button.

Titch grab me a picture of your light fixture.  It looks nice from the reflection in your cabinet.

Bro you were just talking about shelving two responses ago.  Talking about lights is not random.  Thank you for pics.
