Wonder what "Improved Car Handling" entails? The original 2017 game felt like a pretty spot on recreation of the original Daytona handling-wise, albeit with a far more severe speed loss punishment if you grazed a wall or another player - I hope this this isn't some new guys at Sega going all George Lucas and trying to mess with something that don't really need fixing. Most of these 'improvements' sound pretty superficial TBH, if they were going to add in some new stuff like extra courses I'd be highly impressed, but this seems a bit meh.

Yeah it's annoying as hell that Daytona never really had enough tracks, they remaster it into this, it still doesn't have any new tracks, they decide to do an upgrade and improve the lighting and physics instead of GIVING US NEW TRACKS?!?

I know less is more, but it's 2019... they could do so much more with the license.

I'm going to an arcade in a few weeks where they have several of these, so I'll see if they're updated and record some footage.

You need a serial number, am guessing they will check sales data and confirm you own it, so maybe they have learnt

If someone has one of these cabs near to where they live I'm sure making a note of the serial number of the machine and using the arcades name in filling in an online form asking to be emailed a link to the update shoudn't be too difficult!
