SK, is the king, tried a bunch of others, even paid for them, but SK is awsome, and free, very stable and reliable, I even had it work with videos on a old celeron 1.3 with 256 ram, it will gladly run mpeg and AVI files, plus the music, wma mp3 even WAV

Never heard of it myself. For others in the same boat, here's the link:

Looks like the last release was 2007 (abandonware), Windows only, VB6 run time required.

I found a mala compatible app called jukebox8 it has a nice classical looking front end and all the features. Only problem is when mala starts it, it uses a layout instead of the actual jukebox FE. No big deal doesnt look as nice but i managed to make a layout using on the backgrounds.

If you want an album based juke that is not touchscreen, I also highly recommend SKJukebox.

Run it in Win98 compatibility mode to avoid a bug that causes it to skip songs in your playlist.

I am not an expert in software.
I use Win XP sev pack 3, and I just install the software and then paste the 4.01 in its folder and it does miracles.
I never had to use aditional .dll 's
In W7 it's diffrent ball game, but got it working fine also, once you tell it to run as admn

The download links are dead on the SKjukebox site.

I wondered if someone would be kind enough to email it me or to upload it to zippyshare or something?

Thanks in advance for any help with this.

Cheers

John :-)

Hi Gonzo
Just found this topic from many moons ago. I've not been on this site for a good while.

It appears that all my notifications from here were going to my Spam folder so I didn't realise you'd replied.

I personally hate it when someone asks for something - somebody steps in to help - and then they don't bother to say "thank you".

I realise it was two years ago - I didn't get the software and the link is now dead - however, I just wanted to plug my karma leak and say Thank You for posting that for me and I'm really sorry I didn't reply back at the time.

All my best wishes

John :-)
