G400Interlace util with 32MB card?

(1/3) > >>

Ambrocade:
Hi folks,

Anyone get the g400interlace program running on their arcade monitor with a Matrox 32MB AGP card?

The display is quite good with no noticable flickering on the right side of the display.  But the left half of the display shows up as solid purple bars so the desktop is not visible.

Is there a particular way to load the program?  I simply load the executable in the system.ini file.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have a G400 MAX, what is this interlace program you're talking about? Does it give a pc monitor scanlines like an arcade monitor? Or does it just enable you to display on an arcade monitor?

It enables you to display windows on an arcade monitor.

I'm using a 16mb g400 with a wg-7000 series monitor, and get a stable picture in mame32.  Certain parts of the windows desktop flicker a little, but nothing too bad.

For some reason though, my computer locks up if try to run mame32 AFTER I've already run g400interlace.  So every time I have to boot up, start mame32 in split screen mode, then run g400interlace.

Did you run into this?  Also, could you post the line(s) in your system.ini which set up your monitor?
