Wilford Brimley, 85.

It seems we're losing a lot of the good ones this year.

He was low key terrifying in The Firm.  Also not nearly as old as he looked in most of his roles.

Yeah, only 50-51 in Cocoon, despite his character living in a retirement home.

That's awful.  there had been rumors about his health for years so I guess they weren't rumors.

It puts Disney in a very awkward position.  Black Panther is kind of the symbol of positive blackness in the MCU.  Do they kill the character off and leave a giant hole or recast and potentially piss off a lot of fans?

I’m totally burnt out on super hero movies but enjoyed that one.  Far too young.

Yeah.  You know he did like half a dozen films in the last couple of years that were more on the masterpiece theatre end of the spectrum and out of the ones I've seen he was really good in all of them.  You could tell he was one of those guys that just loved to act and loved to tell a story.  Shia Lebouf of all people has also been on an arthouse masterpiece streak lately.  I'm hoping the super hero genre will get a break for a while and we can get back to a variety of genres in the theatre soon.... if we can go to the theatre soon.

She fought hard too.  She fought for people's rights, for her own rights as a female judge, cancer several times.  The woman lost her husband of 54 years and went to work the next damn day.  Politics aside she literally gave her life for this country and everybody should respect that.

Michael Longsdale passed away.

He was in Moonraker as Drax and also in Ronin.

One of my favorite actors too.

89 is still pretty good, and his films give him immortality.

Clark Middleton passed by West Nile Virus.  They are from mosquito bites apparently.  Old Spice cologne works against these insects, you should have some from 1998 Christmas.  :blah:

I remembered him from Kill Bill2 as they were burying the bride.  He was also in Snowpiercer.

Van Halen (with DLR) is my favorite band. I think there are like 2 songs I don't know well from ALL of their albums (I still listen to those two). Major bummer. A coworker and I saw them in Minneapolis. DLR kinda sucked but Eddie played like he was 25. Everything he played was pretty much spot on.
