Man I loved that guy.  His show was always on an odd channel at an odd time though so I rarely caught it.

I am not sure this is the right place to post this, but is is arcade related.  I thought you would like to know.

Tim Skelly just passed away.  He designed some of the games I played in the arcades in my youth.  Not sure what he died of, but his passing and the subsequent obituary had an impact to my day, and I played a few games of Star Castle as a way of thanks of all that fun and mowing lawns to get the quarters to play my favorite game.

Damn right Howard.  The Seventh Seal is on my movie bucket list.  Guess now is as a good time as any.

The best he could hope for was to die in his sleep.

Joe Diffie, country music star, dies from complications from Covid-19 at age of 61.

As a fan of country music in the 90's, I really enjoyed his music. He actually signed up to play our state this September about a month ago or so.

Ain't No Sunshine is a great song. That tune has given a lot of happiness to my family. My wife loved it.

When my son was really little he played drums on that song and Sweet Home Chicago at a local bar. His drum teacher was in a blues band and he let my son take his place on 2 songs on a Saturday night about once a month. He could hardly see over the kit. It was a lot of fun. People would give him tips, and he always got a huge ovation. Everyone was really cool to him even when he made mistakes. I actually cried when that place shut down. His favorite part is they always gave him free root beer. For some reason that blew his mind.

Danny Goldman best known for voicing Brainy Smurf on the Smurfs has passed away.  Among a handful of small parts he played the the medical student who questioned Gene Wilder in Young Frankenstein.  For the life of me I could never figure out why the guys voice was so familiar when I watched Young Frankenstein.  Now I know.

Half of Kraftwerk is dead.

I can draw a straight line from this band to my entry point into industrial music.  Not sure whether or not to thank them but it's been fun.

He's a Star Trek actor like the Rock is a Star Trek actor.... I guess it's technically true.  He's a rather prolific character actor though.
