Sad. He died before he could see his daughter's new movie.

His wife divorced him after 38 years as he could not be affectionate to her.  WTF?

That is cold.

No I was playing with my Tonkas in the back yard.  Not TV.  But the next door neighbor used to beat his wife on many occasions.  You could hear the screams from down the street.  Cops came and went.

It was a mix of Twilight Zone and Perry Mason.  Drama indeed.  She didn't leave him after 34 years though.

Windsor Davies just passed.  Liked him on It Ain't half hot mum in the early days BBC telly as the Sgt Major.

Carol Channing too.  Not bad for 97.

The great Dick Miller (Terminator, Gremlins, as well pretty much everything else Joe Dante made) has passed away at age 90.

I actually said, "NOOOO!!" out loud at this one. Seeing him turn up randomly in stuff was always a delight. He will be missed.

John Haynes, the man who created the Haynes Owners Workshop Manuals, died on February 8th.

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/obituaries/2019/02/13/john-haynes-creator-haynes-car-manuals-essential-how-to-guide/

https://www.topgear.com/car-news/founder-haynes-manual-john-haynes-has-died

he helped me as a broke ass teen to fix my own damn car instead of taking it to a shop. I'd literally sit on the crapper and read how to take my car apart.

I guess it is a normal side effect of having a broke ass to sit on the crapper all day.

I'm surprised Albert Finney lasted this long, given his long-time obesity. Even by '81 (Looker, the first I'd seen him) he was looking out of shape and some worn. By The Bourne Ultimatum he looked ready for the hog shed. Great actor, interesting personality.

Similar with Dick Miller. He was looking old in the 50s. Must've chain-smoked at least two packs a day for decades. Looks as he did some good work in earlier decades, the 70s onward parts becoming bit-ier and bit-ier.

It has not been released.  I'm sure we'll know in a couple of days.  Being close to 500 pounds I'm not putting my money on anything related to obesity.

Yes, but his brain was mostly gone ten or more years ago. Drinking and drugs did him in.
