Always been Meatloaf's biggest fan. Belted out Bat Out of Hell non-stop from my car stereo BITD. Wore out numerous tapes of that. Still play loads of Meatloaf when I'm in the workshop at weekends. Played him all day at work today.

Think this weekend is going to be an All-Meatloaf-Weekend.

Edit: I only just started watching Baskets over the past few days and I hate that I missed out on this fantastic performance by Louie. He was so damn good in this role!

Anyway...

I got a good laugh out of his presentation when he corrected us on the pronunciation.

He was wrong, but it was still funny.

Yes because the guy that frikkin invented the format and thus gets to decide how it is pronounced holds up a can of the peanut butter in the photo and used all kinds of Jiff puns in the original article back in the day because he pronounces it the other way.   Quite frankly anyone that doesn't pronounce it like the peanut butter is actively being an ---uvula--- at this point.

He may have invented the term, but its pronunciation is up to the will of the people. And the people have spoken. ;)

I thought he was hilarious in the Comedy Central Roast of Rosanne. I was laughing really hard.

We put Leave It To Beaver on in the mornings while we get ready for work.  There’s a free station called MeTV that airs it.  It is remarkable how many problematic plot lines are in that show.  I doubt actual reality was like that for many families, but it was clearly aspirational for a lot of people.  The father is a sanctimonious jackass and the mother weighs 90lbs and solely exists to make coffee.  It’s not all bad and strives to be wholesome but you’ll be exclaiming, “…wow…” periodically.
