Opengl for mame in mala?
« on: November 26, 2015, 08:31:20 am »
For whatever reason I cannot run direct 3d but opengl works in mameui, how can I get mala to run games in opengl? I'm guessing there is a command string I need to enter but I don't know what it would be.

I'm also having layout issues but I'll create another thread for that.

I don't know if this is the correct way to fix the direct3d error (btw I'm using Intel integrated video) but I forced mame to use opengl by editing the mame.ini file and I changed the video option from "auto" to "opengl".

I have no idea why direct3d use to work but if I had to guess is probably due to a driver issue. I've had a lot of issues with intel's integrated video on multiple systems.
