I can truly appreciate the woodworking involved.... without some fancy jigs (which he might actually have) those corners and that hinge would be hard to do well. That said the poor design kind of negates all the hard work put into it. The plastic looks like something crafted from a radioshack project box, there are bare wires connecting with the monitor and with so few wires it'd have to be a crappy composite connection. Those raised screws that are there for no apparent reason (the monitor bezel doesn't have any screws) are kind of off-putting. Also even the Gameboy rounded the corners off so it wouldn't kill your hand. Just an honest opinion... feel free to disagree. |
