windows 2000 better for tvout
« on: July 09, 2002, 05:35:36 pm »
i started using mame using windows 98 with the asus 7700 tv-out and i always had problems with not seeing everything on the screen..i thought it was a driver issue..might still be

but then i switched to windows 2000 about 4 months ago...first time i loaded it the picture was perfect.....so now i can see a;l my mame, psx emulator,n64 games woth no cut off screens..it's great..i have not noticed any performance hits..all thoughi have a fast computer
amd 1600+ 256 megs

that cleaned up all my windows video problems by just switching operating systems.

now al i need to do is get the sound for asteroids working right..anyone know how??
