Can any mini-itx boards handle N64 emulation?

(1/1)

AlanS17:
I think this is a pretty self-explanatory topic. I wanna build a console emulator with a mini-itx form factor, but I wanna know if it can support N64 emulation or just the older stuff.

BombProofPlane:
Sure but they are only in shuttles at the time.  Or else your stuck with the vias that really stuck at 3d

The shuttle boards can do anything a regular pc can. Except you have to buy it with a case

AlanS17:
Well those shuttles aren't true mini-itx, are they? I thought they were micro-atx. Anyways, I'm talking about the VIA boards. Those Shuttles are really expensive (or at least too expensive for me).   :-\

Malachai:
You could get the 1GHz board and a PCI video card.  That would probably handel it.  You may want to use a PCI riser card if you are going for a low profile setup.
What is it you are trying to do?

DeathMonk:
Unless you can add a 3d card to those mobo's, I would say go with micro-atx instead.

I just don't know if you'll have enough power for n64 emulation--especially without a 3d card.
