It is a great build.

If you combine the PC power on/off idea with a smartstrip, or a 5v relay, you can make the entire cab go on/off with a single button.

I was reading through your thread, learned some stuff, and noticed that you used your router to cut marquee plexi/acrylic sheet.

Did you know that you can cut acrylic sheet to size easily, with a box-cutter or craft knife and a straight edge (like a metal ruler, or even a piece of wood)? :o

EDIT: First, leave the protective paper on until you are finished with the cutting.

Then just mark your line with a pencil and score the line with your knife. Carefully line up your ruler or other straight edge along the cut line, to guide your knife. Go over it 3-4+ times to make a proper impression. Don't press too heavy, otherwise you might bounce off the line.

Then carefully line-up the cut line against a straight edge with a drop - like a straight piece of wood about an inch high or more - and now clamp a piece of wood over the top, along the line. Then start gently pushing the plexi down, along and against the cut line, until it breaks. If you do it right, the plexi/acrylic will break neatly along the cut line.

EDIT: Note this only works right if you leave the paper on

Done right, will be as neat as your best router cut.

Use the same technique for cutting fibre-cement sheets and bathrooms tiles [but you will need something bigger than a craft knife - like a tile cutter/scorer or maybe a chisel)].
