N64 black screen

Hi have just changed my monitor to widescreen N64 plays fine standalone but when i boot Maximus Arcade i can hear the game but just get a black screen,all my othe emulators play fine.
Can anbody give me any pointers as to what setting i need to adjust.

Can you go into the emulator config file and turn fullscreen off? See if it starts up then. Then see about changing the window dimensions to match your monitor resolution and if that works, turn fullscreen mode back on.

Not saying I know what the issue is, but that would be my first step in troubleshooting.
