It's still pretty hot here. I wore shorts today at least. The old furnaces work better and last longer... definitely don't replace it until it breaks. We got an industrial unit from my grandmaw's house and it doesn't heat/cool as well as the old one did and it was half busted! So I got the dash on my car halfway presentable and I was ready to take the car to paint.... now the speedo dies and the door buzzer is coming on when you turn the lights on. Ugh...old cars. |

I was informed today that my bosses have sold the company and new owners are taking over next month. Not sure if I'm chuffed or anti-chuffed since I hate my job anyway. I'd always hoped they'd just close up shop and I could collect unemployment for a while. I'm anti-chuffed at the moment because I got the structural issues on my house taken care of just yesterday, and I was getting ready utilize a personal line of credit to remodel the bathroom which is already halfway gutted. :-\ Now I'm not so sure I want that extra debt/payment. At the moment, the feeling I have is that I'm going to tell the new bosses to go ---fudgesicle--- themselves over the terms of the employment agreement. |

After 6 years in a leadership pseudo-supervisory role at a company I've been with for 12 years I have to go back to production Thursday in what feels a whole lot like a demotion. Why didn't I become an engineer.... Oh yeah Physics.... |
