I have one of those, but sometimes it's a PITA to remove the microswitches.

I took the Pepsi challenge!  I plan to have a few control panels wired up soon.  Gotta say, there doesn't seem to be any flair.  Arcadetools.com or your email engraved into the wrench seems like a no brainier.  Also, try to integrate a bottle opener to it too!

I have one of those, but sometimes it's a PITA to remove the microswitches.

Still have to remove them to remove the buttons in the end since the nut can't go over the microswitch -- and I don't see getting a wrench in place on the nut any easier in situations where it is too tight to get in and remove the microswitch

I've seen people use pliers & channelocks in a pinch, you name it. Even crescent wrenches. 

I have a plastic button wrench also, but it doesn't work in all cases. I hated removing the leafs when needing to tighten up palnuts or arrange wiring. 

In a close button array, BitWrench won't help much but in simple panel layouts it works perfectly. Same reason applies of how we have swivel or deep sockets in automotive use - the right tool depends on the particular situation. A few local route operators that have been using the BitWrench have been very happy, wondering why someone like this haven't been out sooner.  Some cabinets that have buttons come loose in heavy use (think Track & Field or any other type of button-masher game) have an extra stored in the coinbox at all times.

EDIT: And YES, I will threadcrap, because we get a lot of new people who don't know the proper tools or products they need, so they should see the alternative (better) choice.

It's one thing to mention a similar device- that's not threadcrapping. When PBJ PBJ's, that's threadcrapping.

The OP didn't say "Throw out those old button wrenches, you'll never need them again!!!!1!!". He's offering an alternative. Just because someone doesn't think that idea would work for them doesn't mean people gotta be ---uvulas--- about it.

Any situation where this wrench could be used is also a situation where an adjustable wrench or channel locks could be used.  And those are much more useful tools with good quality ones available for less than your selling price.

Mine showed up today. Has a nice compact footprint. The aluminum gives it a nice solid quality feel (as opposed to being 3D printed out of plastic). It's exactly as advertised- a nice addition to your toolbox.

I just saw this and really got a kick out of the responses.  He is selling them at KLOV as well.  Here is the only comment:

I appreciate the way that this group likes to look out for one and other, but I'm not sure the option of using a wrench from the side, instead of over the top, is something that we need protection from.
