Eh my head is hurting, can't sleep and I feel too bad to do anything productive. So Cortana easter eggs .... post em if you've got em. I won't give the punchlines, but in no particular order: Ask her about Master Chief Ask her to "Beam me up Scotty" Ask her if she's a god Ask her where she is Ask her to "open the pod bay doors Hal" Ask her about clippy Ask her the meaning of life Ask her something sexist Ask her what her favorite OS is Ask her what here favorite game is Ask her what she thinks of the Xbox Ask her "knock knock" Ask her to tell you a story Ask her to sing Ask her to tell you a joke useful stuff: say "Remind me to ______ on (day of week or date) at (time)" to set a reminder on the calendar say "Play (artist, album or song)" to open groove and play what you requested. This seems to be a tad buggy say "open (app name or file name)" to launch a program or file. This only works on "discovered" apps and files in the start menu say "how old is (celebrity name or name of historically relevant thing)" to have her tell you the age say "how (big/long/tall/wide) is (whatever)" to have her tell you the result say "how many (units) in (other units)" to convert data for you say "what is (value) (operand) (other value)" to calculate for you say "how do I get to (location)" for a mapped route say "how far is it to (location)" for miles say "how long will it take me to get to (location)" for time That's all I've found for now. Even though the features aren't quite there yet, the voice recognition is really good as are the server-side algorithms. I like it better than siri and whatever you call google's ai. |
