Does retropie play chd games
flavad99:
Just wondering if I am wasting my time or not trying to get them to run. I am placing a directory that matches the name of the corresponding zip file in the images folder. I get a lot of messages that say unsupported chd files.
Bloinkxp:
Depends on what mame you are using inside for RPi? Maybe the advmame can handle it from a technical point of view...but the processor is anemic for this purpose. I'd suggest looking into these forums and see what is needed to handle CHD...i mean usually i3 or i5 are recommended ;D
Slippyblade:
In the images folder? Don't CHD files go in the ROM directory?
nitrogen_widget:
I tried killer instinct once on my rpi2 with advmame and it was slow-motion.
I can't think of too many other .chd games i'd want to play.

I finally got the game to run (NFL Blitz), but as the previous poster alluded to, the processor is too weak to handle the game
