Planning build.... artwork help (sources, res size, etc)
« on: July 14, 2015, 12:18:55 am »
Im planning my 32" display slim mame cab and going to get wood and some things tomorrow.

I have alot of ideas for my sideart but no clue how to implement them.

Im going with a mortal kombat / street fighter female character theme (because who wouldnt want to look at kitana and chun li art?)

;D hope the ol lady dont mind.....

Anyway I have some background in photoshop and found alot of good sources for art to use but have no clue about what size/resolution source pics will work since they would need to be blown up so huge. Ive found alot of the artwork as high res background images but still wonder what they would look like blown up big enough to use as side art.

Are there any guidelines or tutorials on how to get this going?

This is my first mame cab so ive never been down this road before, I dont know what image format or size the sideart needs to be in and dont even know who to send it to for printing.

Any help is appreciated!
