Does anyone have an .ai or high resolution scan for the side art on a space duel ?

There is a partially done WIP of the side art here : http://vectorzorg.free.fr/WIP/#space_duel_sideart_zorg

Unfortunately according to this post ( http://www.rotheblog.com/2008/04/classic-arcade-games/new-space-duel-sideart-progress/ ) it seems iot was being done but was put aside back in 2008 and seems it was never completed.

Thanks dudes for all the help. Unfortunately I'm not that tech savvy on the artwork. I was hoping someone would have an Ai or high res scan that I could print off and apply on the sides there currently preped and ready for application !

THere is a set of scans I found in the links from the article - HERE ( http://edeveaud.free.fr/tmp/scans/ ) they are decent res but are broken into 21 pieces so getting it lined up might take a bit of time but would work for tracing guides !

Yeah - they looked a bit off on some of them (also not sure if all of the pieces are the same scale so might take awhile to get a useable image from it - but better than most of the other available images I've found !

I wish i had a high res to work with. The restoration was done vector (AI). I was at the CAX this weekend and forgot to pick up the marquee.

Yea, the problem with the 21 images is that the resolution sucks on them. So even if you were able to get it pieced together, it would still prove difficult to redraw.

This is one of the more difficult sidearts to work with. I tried to restitch the sides together using illustrator and having the same problem of improper overlap and resolution issues. Seems like some of the scans overlap with others

Give this a try. I attempted to take a high res photo of the side of my Space Duel. It's an original that's in pretty good shape. Maybe you can trace it to a vector image?

Just open up the PDF file and drag it to Adobe Illustrator and should have full access to each graphic(s). You should be able to scale to what ever size you want.

NOTE: select each item individually, hold the 'shift' key down and drag any bounding box!

Thanks for doing this! I've been thinking about vectorizing this stuff so I can make a custom bezel and now it should be much easier!!
