Minor screw up. It seems when I drew my template for the CP box sides, it squished slightly when I printed it out. By a little more than half an inch. Not a lot, but enough that the metal panels stuck out. Obviously this wasn't acceptable so back to the woodshop!
My wife bought me a router table a couple months ago, it was a thrift store purchase on dollar days. The mounting plate on it didn't fit my router, but for the price, I figured I'd make it work. having to re-do the CP sides was a good incentive to finally make the modification. Once I got the router mounted into the table, cutting new sides was a breeze. Cutting the t-mold slots was child's play as well.
Anyway, CP boxes are glued up and clamped sitting on the bench at home. I'm at work currently and can't wait to get home to finish them up.
