Oh, cool. So the same plan as your concept art earlier. Is there a plan to code this into a game and put it in a cabinet then? I was thinking forbidden forest because a number of the creatures you have are in the forbidden forest game and you are an archer destroying them. Skeletons, giant spiders, snakes, killer bees, a dragon. Worth a play for inspiration if you got no problem running a c64 emulator. |

Been thinking which kinds of viewpoints were best... and seeing how each could look and interact. The earlier version might not play as intense as the original. .. due to the perspective shift. 100% top view gives more intensity... but the look just isnt that good. The design was made to play more similar to Robotron... so decided to see if a classic hybrid view would do. More details than Robotron due to higher resolution. .. and similar intensity possibility. Creatures would probably need more than one hit to destroy...and the attackers will be faster and or more intelligent than the grunts. When seeing that insects were a bit limiting in abilities. .. realized that it could be too easy ... and not enough intensity. I think the first concept could be its own separate game from this. Maybe even making it a 3rd person stereoscopic game only... for the Occulus Rift or similar. (Based on the very first concept that I drew in like 1998) It would be quite hard to top Robotron in intensity and gameplay balance. .. but its fun to try. The idea is possibly get more of my works in a better visual state... so they might get some sort of kickstarter. Else... they remain a laborious dream. (Im excellent at design... ok at art... but cant program for beans) |
