cheat engine query

This is related to driving if I can find this out ill explain,

Does anyone know if I load a mame rom and I want to try load this in cheat engine if its possible?

I just don't know how to search for this stuff or even if I can tbh


AM_RANGE(0x140000, 0x14000f) -- WRITE

Offset 1

    X-Axis is bits 1 to 4

    Y-Axis is bits 5 to 8

Need more input. 

That looks like mame code to me. 

Are you trying to read these values in cheat engine for mame or for model 2 because it totally makes a difference.

Regardless, that is the game's memory, not pc memory.  So in cheat engine you need to put for the address the exe name "+" that value and there may even been additional offsets or it could be a pointer.
