Problem with Hack of Steering Wheel

<< < (3/5) > >>

SailorSat:
First - disconnect your L2M2. from the motor.

try connecting the neutral (blue) and the purple wire without the l2m2, then switch on your setup. the motor should start running for as long as it gets power.

if it does, power off everything again, change the purple with the brown wire and switch back on - the motor should run in the other direction.

if it does run in both directions this way, your motor is fine

---

keep the motor disconnected from the L2M2.

if you turn your wheel RIGHT, the CCW led should light up (trying to turn the wheel left).
now turn your wheel LEFT, the CW led should light up (trying to turn the wheel right).

kanario40:
I have tested like you said me and does the next:

-When I connect the blue wire to brown wire works all the time the motor.
-When I connect the blue wire to purple wire doens,t work the motor

In both cases the orange leds of L2M2 works fine when I turn to the right and to the left.

Then the motor is broken?

SailorSat:
I think so.

kanario40:
If I unmount the motor can you solve it or it,s very hard do it?

Also I have a complete Panel SEGA Model 1 of a Virtua Racing.
Can I change the motor of Sega Model 1 and put it in the Daytona steering wheel or it,s different that motor?

kanario40:
The motor that has it,s this a Panasonic:

Does anyone what type of motor is that panasonic ?
