Unable to launch certain mame roms in mala

hello all,

For some reason I am unable to launch certain roms in mala. Some work fine but I see the same issue for a few roms. The initial mame screen loads (stating loading game 0%) then crashes.

Any ideas? Screenshot of log attached.

Have you verified that those particular games will load in Mame itself?
  If not, bring up the MAME folder in dos prompt and type mame [romname]

Some games need bios files to be present in your roms folder.


Other than that, I couldn't read the text shown in your screen shot

looks like the standard missing rom error to me
