Neo-Geo Maximus questions

(1/2) > >>

reptileink:
So, I have tried two different Neo-Geo emulators (Rage, and I forgot the other one). Anyway, I get it to load up, but it appears to have it's own front end which I can navigate with the mouse, but will not load the rom. It recognizes the rom, but then will not load it up. I really don't want to use a Neo-Geo front end inside my front end but I like a lot of the games.

Any tips? Do I need to disable anything? I can't seem to find any settings that allow Neo Geo to run like the other emulators in Maximus.

Malenko:
Why dont you just run the NeoGeo games through MAME?

reptileink:
Yea, that's what I was considering. Do I just put the NeoGeo roms in the Mame folder, or just get the Mame versions of the games? There are only a handful anyway.

same games, same roms. Home and arcade versions are identical too, the BIOS is what determines what version of the game you play. 148 games is only a handful to you?

reptileink:
There are only a few games I want is what I mean.  I don't need all 148 Neo Geo games.
