My only advice would be to be honest with yourself and asses the situation for what it is, not what you want it to be. Fighting to keep something because it was once great does not necessarily lead to happiness. That being said, if you look at the situation from ten feet back and take off all blinders and see that things are truly good between you when she is not all messed up from depression, AND understand that the depression part isn't something that will just go away (it can be treated but often the treatment causes even more issues, like non-existent sex life), then by all means, fight with every inch of your body, heart, and soul. Don't hold anything back. Frankly, divorce was probably the best choice I ever made. It wasn't easy to go through, the kids had a tough year or two from it, but in the end it was better for everyone. (Well, maybe not for her, but that is 100% her own fault, I did everything to set her up to succeed, she took herself to rock bottom.) Good luck, I truly hope things work out for the best, whichever way that ends up being. |

Today I learned people actually want those FJ Cruisers. Toyota was trying to give them away for $26,000 in San Antonio. My favorite part was the plastic diamond plate on the door panels and the fact it was extraordinarily uncomfortable in the back despite the vehicle's size. |
