CHIP - $9, 1GHz single-board computer
JoeStrout:
Geez, even when I know how fast tech advances, I'm still surprised at how fast tech advances:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1598272670/chip-the-worlds-first-9-computer
Specs:
* 1GHz SoC
* Mali400 GPU with OpenGLES 2.0 (and OpenVG 1.1)
* 512MB DDR2 RAM
* 4GB on-board Flash storage
* USB (micro and standard)
* Composite Video (HDMI & VGA Out via adapter)
* Headphone audio out, Mic in
* Single board, 60 x 40 mm (roughly credit-card sized)
* Three mounting holes (a simple but important feature!)
Ought to run MAME like a champ, and is smaller than a joystick.
I've got a bartop that I've been too embarrassed to show, because it's got a Mac Mini hanging out the back... my plan to use a RPi was foiled because I couldn't get the video I needed out of it. I'm getting me one of these and sticking it inside. I will probably get another one for my full-sized cabinet too, where it will be so small, most people would open the back and say "Where's the dang computer?!?"
(Apologies if this has already been discussed... I did a quick search but didn't see anything about it here.)

Yeah, we've already discussed this. Thanks for playing. >:D
JoeStrout:
Oops. My bad. I'll search more thoroughly next time!

There is nothing embarrassing about trying to get feed back and input on trying to fix your bar top. What kind of video issues are you having with the R-pi? Some one here may be able to help.
