| Pelican Universal Real Arcade Stick Issue with PC (for Mame usage) |

| SNAAAKE:
Did you forget to "calibrate" the stick from control panel ? That usually takes care of any problem. |
| Organic Jerk:
When I first connected the controller, I immediately went to the Game Controllers section in Control Panel and started trying to calibrate it, with no luck, until i figured out it was giving a signal, but i had to press buttons slow. So yeah, with no luck. :( |

Anything??? Anyone?? |

I took a different route and just ordered a "Super Joy Box 10" to convert the XBOX signal from the Pelican universal arcade controller to USB for the PC. I had run into the same problems as everyone else with the PSX converter since it draws power for the LCD, and most converters do not support it. I will let you know what the results are once I receive it. Out of the PSX converters I have tried (SOYO and RadioShack), I have had the most luck with the Radioshack 26-304 for what it is worth. The soyo did not completely work with the Sony PS1 joystick. |

I am using the PS2 Pelican Real Arcade with a Radio Shack 26-247 PSX to USB adapter and it works great!! Couldn't be happier with the performance so far. I had heard the problems with the Universal version with converters, so I went with the PS2 version. BTW, I was always wondering, does the Universal version of the Real Arcade support analog only games?? The only knock on the Real Arcade was that it supported digital only games--no big deal if using for MAME, but just wondering as the literature was not really clear. |
