Hi Everyone,
I have a Semp Toshiba 29" PAL-M / NTSC TV working with native resolutions like a Arcade Monitor (RGB-Component conversor and CRT_Emudriver).
I got native resolutions but when I use GroovyMame with VMMaker set as NTSC TV I only got like 8-9 resolutions. I'm pretty sure I was getting way more resolutions with the regular version of MAME and a much better image-dots-scanlines in many games. Some other games didn't work (like space invaders, pac-man, popeye and others).
My question is:
1) When my TV is hoocked via RGB (either with SCART or component conversion) how should I set it with VMMaker.ini? Like NTSC? 2) Is there some way to find out the CUSTOM Specs of my specific TV Hardware? It's a Semp Toshiba 29" from the early 2000's.
I'm not sure of the model as I don't have the instructions manual anymore and it was removed from the original chassis and installed at a real Arcade cabinet. I'm not sure if I can find out the model from the circuit board. UPDATE: Find out the model: It's a Semp Toshiba TV2981JAVS LEM6 Semp Toshiba and the cinemascope is a SAMSUNG A68QBT892X05. I got the Service Manual for it but I'm not sure on what I'm supposed to look for...
Please help!
UPDATE: Figured out how GM works. Sorry for all the newbie questions.
I'm pretty sure this was awsered before but are there any presets for PAL/PAL-M/NTSC TVs for GM? I was running Mortal Kombat at native progressive resolution but when I started messing up with GroovyMame it started to run interlaced. I'm a little bit lost in here and not really sure on how to setup mu particular TV with GrovyMame. Appreciate any help!!
Thank you!!
Marcelo.
