Sorry esaydam, I don't stop by these forums as much as I used too. To answer your questions, the CP has held up really well. We open it on average once per session (to get a controller or wireless keyboard). The hinges are self-close so they pull harder the more closed it is (if that makes sense). I've had a couple friends over for some intense SF4 action and the entire cabinet will shake at times. If anything, I might put another screw in to hold the entire CP to the cab.
Things I'd do differently? I'd find different casters. The rubber ones I used are squishing down after 200+ lbs on them 24/7. I'd just go with plastic or a harder poly-urethane material. One day I'll do some upgrades to it and this will be one of them. The glass bezel gets dust behind it and the only way to clean it is to pull the cab out and remove the monitor. I'd brainstorm a little more to find a better solution for this. Lastly, I'd probably go with an eggshell paint, maybe even semi-gloss instead of flat black since it's difficult to keep clean. Overall I have no big regrets.
