Micro Pac-Man/Space Inv Deluxe for sale!
« on: December 26, 2003, 04:25:06 pm »
I need to make space at my desk, so I've decided to sell some of my more unique "Micro-cade" items.  For now I will be entertaining offers, but if I don't get any interesting bids, they will go up on ebay.

First is my fully 100% working Micro-Pac!  Running MAME-CE 10x, it is a fully functional MAME machine, in a convenient desktop size.  Inside is a Casio Cassiopeia E-100 PDA, complete with battery, charger, and sync cable.  The PDA can not be easily removed, but it is fully functional, and can be used as a datebook, contact database, notepad etc.  It comes with a stylus, battery, charger, sync cable, PDA instruction manual, and an instruction book for using the arcade control interface.  More info and pictures HERE and HERE.

Second, my Micro Space Invaders Deluxe!  This is a scratchbuilt scale model of the classic game, approximately 10" H x 5.5" D x 4.5" W.  It does not play any games, but it does feature working LED lighting.  The marquee, coin door, backdrop and the screen are all brightly lit!  The screen is printed backwards and reflected on a clear window in front of the backdrop, just like the original!  Looks great in a dark room.  The authentic buttons are modeled from plastic, not printed!  Comes with an external 4.5V adapter.  More pictures HERE.

I am currently accepting bids by email only.  Please do not post bids here!  Also email me any questions.

Thanks!

After a few requests, I have decided to consider trades as well.  I will trade either of the micro-cabs for any or all of the following in working condition:

- Tron Up/Down spinner (original or Oscar)
- Imperial or Happ 3" trackball
- Set of 4 Happ Competition joysticks (Space Invaders only)

This should also give you some idea of the price ranges I'm looking for...  ;)

Thanks for looking!

I can't quite tell what you've got there, but I'll take 6 comps if you've got em.  Do you happen to have another blue handle somewhere by any chance?  Also, what do the ball handles fit to?

OK, the Pac-Man is off the block.  Thanks PacManFan for your generous offer!

The Space Invaders is still up for grabs.  If you have a relatively new set of blue-handled competition joysticks, it's yours!  Otherwise, it's going on my desk at work.
