Madcatz TE PS3 multi-mod
« on: March 30, 2015, 03:57:26 am »
I have a PS3 Madcatz TE.
Is there any way I can mod the thing to support the PC and the original xbox (or arbitary platforms in future via upgradeable firmware)?

channeling my inner scottard here, but you can probably replace the guts with a KADE, thats the only way I know to make it work on an original xbox.

Or a PS360+.
Or a Toodles Cthulhu PCB.

PS360+ also works on PS4, for 8 minutes at a time, till they figure out how to handle the bluetooth encryption issue.
Akishop updates the PS360+ firmware every so often.  The last major update added a few retro console support like NES, SNES and Saturn...but OG Xbox has been working for quite a while.

I don't have a Kade, or Cthulhu, but they are also good options.

I own an akishop 360+ and I didnt know it'd work on an OG XBOX, learn something new everyday!

Thanks for all the suggestions.
Toodles Cthulhu sounds interesting, looks cheaper than the PS360+ too.
Does this board require soldering?
