Master System & Mala
« on: March 28, 2015, 11:38:33 am »
Hi All

I am having problems starting Master System in MALA. Megadrive works fine but when I start MS I just get a black screen?

Any ideas?

It depends on the emulator you are calling. I use Fusion.

Execution Command Line:
"%path%\%rom%.%ext%" -sms -auto -fullscreen

Turn on logging. Try the command MALA performs manually. Set the correct working directory and check for a typo.

Code: [Select]
2015/03/29  06:13:26.79   Info: CtrlStartGame: EMU_OTHER: emu.FCommandline (config) = "%path%\%rom%.%ext%" -sms -auto -fullscreen
2015/03/29  06:13:26.79   Info: CtrlStartGame: EMU_OTHER Converted Commandline = Fusion.exe "e:\Gamestuff\_retro\segams\game\roms\Double Target - Cynthia no Nemuri (Japan).zip" -sms -auto -fullscreen
2015/03/29  06:13:26.79   Info: Starte: Dir = ..\..\_retro\_emus\sega\
....

OK I got it starting in full screen but it keeps going to windowed when I exit back to Mala. I have separate folders for Genesis/32x & Master System and they exit back fine, it just MS.

Is there an option in the .ini that I can move the Esc key (full screen to window) to a different input?

Thanks agan

I was confused by this post till I read Bmanbdaman's post.  His way is the way to do it.  I'd forgotten that I'd done that a long time ago.
