So, as usual, everyone's full of crap. I just tried it, and it works fine with keyboard controls. NO idea what you're talking about.

MKX?

They've patched it multiple times since launch. I couldn't actually play the story mode until like 730pm, couldnt use Scorpion or SubZero either  :afro:

Sorry I haven't done any videos of the machine. I've been busy the last 13 hours finishing up the move set bezel. It's as complete as I can make it at the current time. When the DLC characters become available and I unlock one of the hidden characters, I'll re-edit those character blocks when the time comes, but for now, it's complete. Now it's time for some game play videos. Stay tuned...

Bezel has been printed and installed. Now it's time to fire up the machine and play the hell out of it...

No reason to be rude.  :dunno

Well then you are one of the lucky ones, the steam MKX forum is full of people having issues with the control mapping on a huge variety of control methods (KB/Joystick/Controller/etc.).

I need to try it again since as stated it appears to have seen at least one or possibly two patches since I attempted to map my tankstick.

The bottom is part of the speaker grille. Unless I filled the holes with bondo, painting it would not look good and thus, would not match the upper part.

Thanks! I actually just got back from the annual 'Shang Tsung's Fight Night' at the Galloping Ghost Arcade and I was able to get a handful of Netherrealm Studios people and two of the TOP MKX players in the world to sign the MKX machine (Perfect Legend and ETC McFly). I'll post pictures shortly.

So here are the guys who signed the machine that were present at the event...

Carl "Perfect Legend" White and ETC McFly (two of the top MKX players in the world). The Netherrealm team members were Tyler Lansdown (community specialist), Rigo Cortes (head of social media and community manager), 16Bit (Quality Assurance and game tester), John Vogel (Game Designer), Carlos Pesina (Art Lead Animation) and one other team member whom I can't remember and can't read their signature, lol...

That's it!

Kotal Kahn... that is reaaaaaally lame.

Cab looks great, how is the game? Is it like the last one where you play through a story? I really enjoyed that one, and the similar Injustice.

I believe the Kahn at the end is just the designation as the Ruler.  His "real name" is listed as "Ko'atal"

There is a story, but its really heavy handed in trying to make Cassie's crew be great when in fact they kinda suck. One of  the more frustrating things is to fight Baraka , but not be able to play as Baraka.
I like the overall direction of the story arc, but not the path they took to get there.

I only brought the CPO and the marquee. I got lots of compliments! Most of them recognized the art from when Ed Boon tweeted about it.

Just wanted to follow up and say that after the latest PC patch for MKX control mapping works on the X-Arcade sticks as long as you program it to the default MKX bindings.

I used Player 1 start as ENTER and Player 2 start as ESCAPE in order to navigate the menus. Numlock has to be enabled for Player 2 to function properly.

I don't know if this makes a difference for Ipac users but others have confirmed better control mapping since the latest patch on 5/6/2015.

Actually they released 3 patches for PC within ~24 hours (May 5th & 6th).

The initial patch with many 'fixes' deleted game saves, the second patch was a rollback patch after they pulled the initial one and then the next morning they released the initial patch again minus the game save bug.

Here's the kicker... each patch was 15+ GB and there were a couple patches before those with one being 15+ GB (so the game is nearing 100 GB worth of downloading in less than a month from release).

The console versions have seen some issues but the PC version has been among the worst launches ever.

MK3FAN absolutely made the right choice by using the PS4 version for his cab.

I avoided the save bug patch as well and have been able to play the game mostly fine since launch (other than the memory leak issue which will eventually cause a crash). I have about 30 hours into it so I can't complain after paying less than half price. Now it can be found for $15 so at that price it's a deal (it appears they are trying to fix as much as they can asap).

100 GB is including the game itself, which is about 30 GB.

Nah. The PC version with a G-Sync monitor is still far superior. The initial release was fine. You don't even have to connect to the internet, so you wouldn't have got any of the patches anyway.

Nah. The PC version with a G-Sync monitor is still far superior. The initial release was fine. You don't even have to connect to the internet, so you wouldn't have got any of the patches anyway.

Im starting to fall in love with your elitist attitude :*

You are correct, you dont have to connect to the internet........ unless you wanna play the faction war META game, do the living towers, and or fight other people online.
If you're replying to a troll you are part of the problem.
I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

While I agree the pc version is over-all superior... with all of the various pc issues out of the gate the PS4 version was 100% the right choice for a dedicated arcade cabinet where stability is important.

Remember that just because you or I run the game mostly fine (and have since launch) not everyone is having the same luck. ;)

Mike,

First off, kick ass cabinet and kollection!

I am curious about your button layout on this.  I actually prefer the same standard old school MK layout that you have used here with the block in the middle and the run under the thumb.  This causes a shortage of buttons though as well as a couple of other issues. I recently built a fight stick for MKX and used the exact same layout, but I am having some issue mapping all of the buttons because of the lack of one.  Basically you have to pick either level interaction or throw for your thumb, one or the other.  Is there another way you have found to get around this?  I know there  are a few shortcuts, like block+3+4 to initiate an xray.

Thanks for the kind words. Since I'm using a PS4, the buttons are mapped by default for square + triangle = interaction, square + X = Throw (or L1 = throw), and X + R2 (Block) + circle = XRay. I don't have any issues with any of the inputs.

Current collection - 28 cabs, 4 pins. (32 machines and not enough room)
