So as some of you know our family has been eagerly awaiting the arrival of son #2. My wife was very high risk, and dealing with those added complications kept me from the forum at times. I thank those that have been patient with me in getting back to PMs and such. Last night at 11:07PM Baby "D" arrived. Two weeks 'early' but still at 7lbs 10oz and 24.25 inches long. My wife is a petite thing, so we were all glad this one didn't delay, as he easily could have been over 9lbs at 40 weeks. :o I'll update with some pics at a later time, but wanted to put the word out and give thanks for everyone's prayers and well wishes. Both Baby and mommy are doing great. Anyone waiting on any forum and/or business related matters please give me a couple days and I'll have any/everyone taken care of. Again thank you all for the support! |

:applaud: congrats. I'm a 3 time NICU parent, as my wife is also high risk. (1st @ ~2lbs, 2nd @ 5lbs, and 3rd @ 7lbs) they are now 9, 5 and 1.5 years old I know the stress of being crazy all the time. It gets better. Get you and your family home, plop down on the couch, and breathe a sigh of relief. it makes all the difference. :cheers: |
