In order to out the gorilla in the room I'd like to say a heartfelt congratulations to Yotsuya, Markc74, Andy, JohnRT, and Shrunkenmaster who all deservedly won their categories.  Especially Shrunkenmaster who I have no doubt would have carried his category regardless.  As for pedestal, I'm not so sure mine would be here if things had gone differently, but I appreciate the support that this community continues to show and I look forward to seeing what amazing projects this next year holds.

Congrats all!  Awesome stuff, it's always a lot of fun watching other peoples builds (spend far to much time doing it), and the really detailed ones are most inspiring.   :notworthy:  :notworthy:  :notworthy:  :notworthy:

Wow, what an honor!

I'd like to congratulate all the nominees and builders for creating works that help further our hobby. I've always said I think we're in a Golden Age of building now, and every single nominated project shows that.

I want to repost this, because it truly shows how projects can be a collaborative project while still retaining elements of your original vision. I feel like I fulfilled what I wanted to with my project, but it certainly evolved with the feedback to these people. For all those builders out there mulling their first projects, it pays to listen.

If I see any of you guys at ZapCon, the first beer's on me.

Congratulations yotsuya.  Macross is one of my favorite builds and represents the type of project I aspire to.

Well deserved.    :applaud:

Absolutely well deserved, guys!

As for pedestal, I'm not so sure mine would be here if things had gone differently,

Whether it would have won or not is irrelevant to me. The honest truth is that it is in every way about as unique and well executed as anything on here. It earned it's spot.

Wow - thanks all! It's very humbling to think that people like the cabinet. A lot of builds this year have been pretty mind blowing so I'm just flattered to be part of it all.

Of course - now the itch is back I want to build a pinball table, and a modern style LCD based cabinet (boo! hiss!), and maybe a vertical cab.

Thanks to everyone who supported and offered advice in my build thread, and thanks again for those that voted.
