Has anyone here connected an original xbox controller to a pc? If I get an adapter to do so will it work the same as a 360 controller or will it show up as something else? Like if I wanted to play a game such as skyrim that only supports 360 controllers would this work? Or would I need a 3rd party program to make it think it is a 360 controller? |

Rather than buy an adapter, why not just get a cheap 360 controller off eBay? :dunno |

You can map one as an xbox 360 pad with various drivers. It's a pain in the ass all around. http://www.redcl0ud.com/xbcd.html |

Original Xbox controller is just a proprietary USB connector. you can get one of these: http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-Controller-PC-USB-Adapter-Cable/dp/B000RT2868 But those sellers annoy me with their stupid high shipping. or if you are handy you can just solder a usb cable end onto it. http://www.ocmodshop.com/how-to-use-an-xbox-controller-as-a-usb-pc-gamepad/ |
