A wider Nintendo? Ugh. They did make a widebody, but I'm not sure it could accommodate rotation.

Theoretically it could be done with a Widebody version, but the monitor would need to be at 19:". However, the addition of extra buttons would kill the look in my opinion (especially if you are considering fighting games or Neo Geo games).
The Nintendo cabinet is a classic cab IMHO. So it deserves classic games with fewer buttons.

Ya I think I would just stick with the original cab with only vertical games. My eventual goal would be to have some of the classic cab styles with all or most all of the games played in each rather than a dedicated for each game. For example Nintendo - DK, DK Jr, Popeye and so on. Midway - Galaga, Pac-Man and so on. My thoughts would be 4 to 5 cabs (wife and space have a big say on this ;D) 4 being of the type described above and maybe one custom cab for everything else.
Question if you guys had 4 classic cabs styles to chose from which ones would you choose?
Nephasth:
Taito and Midway (Pac/Ms Pac/Galaxian/Galaga)
Atari (Centipede & Dig Dug) too, I suppose.
