Pound sand. Kick rocks. Beat feet. Those make sense. Never heard pound salt before...

Who says, "Go pound salt"?  That's just cray right there yo.

:lol  :dunno They both sound weird to me.
Well why don't you just go kick rocks then?

I always liked that one.

Well, you can just take a long pier off a short walk and make like a tree and shut the hell up!

If y'all don't watch out someone's going to start an upright project called Cafe 80's.

But it better play Wild Gunman, or else you can just pound salt....  :dizzy:

Oh, one thing i did learn from this: Those GroovyGameGear CLASSX buttons with leafs, and GGG Leaf stick are AWESOME for playing DK, needs a 4-way restrictor, but whatever...   I can't wait for my actual DK stick to get here.

The Pac-Pro takes care of the 4-way needs. It's a great stick.

I got the idea from you in the first place last year when I started my Flynn build.  :applaud:  I was thinking a few days ago to build a wood one, but then was like... Meh.

Yeah, even that ZD Invader hasn't been used in over a year. :dunno

Not really an update per say, but kinda.

I built a breakout CP for my new cocktail, and put my ArcadeSD board in. This way i can get a little play testing of the ArcadeSD I'm using for this build ;) Nothing special, just tapped into the P1 CP and made a breakout harness. Love these Molex connectors....

I've done a prototype with a shoebox before.  I like your idea better.

The Classx buttons combo and Nintendo joystick is what I have in my FIF Jr cab.  Best combo of joysticks and buttons Ive used so far.

And dont worry about the tupperware setup.  Its what Im using right now as a test bed for controls.  I might go with a wood built test bed but cant see why I should when its only for testing.

As for you being a 'ginger'...Somethings cannot be forgiven. >:D

And why are you showing two builds in this thread?  Isnt that like illegal here and stuff?

Hey Neph, Is this better? $6.00 at a local craft shop. And thats after a 40% off coupon. Gonna add a layer of plexi to the top and use it to house my DK controls to use on my cocktail until the DKU CP is built.

Where's the buttons? :duckhunt

You should start uploading your pics to BYOAC. Otherwise, 2 years after you're gone, nobody will be able to see your pics...

Oh, If anyone has a cheap and decent source for all those bolts holding the parts onto the panels i'd love to hear about it!

Are they broken?  I had good success just cleaning mine with a bit of baking soda and water, a toothbrush, and some steel wool...

Good call!

A couple of them are corroded quite bad. But I should be able to use this method to save as many as I need.  I was thinking of cleaning a few with CLR.

Placing them in a drill (in place of the bit) and using a fine grit sand paper on them as they spin in the drill can remove most of the pitting if there is any on the tops and give you a nice shine to the tops.
