I offered him $35 for one, but he doesn't want to separate them and would rather have $65 for both. For $65 I think I'm better off just spending a little extra and getting the turbo twist 2. I asked someone on here to see if they wanted to split the cost since they where looking for a spinner, but no worries. I'm finishing up this spinner I'm making. So if that works I'll use  till I'll buy a turbo twist 2.

It's a vcr/mouse hack that I found online. Credits go to axeman.  Here are some pictures of how it's coming along. The flat piece is just something I had laying around the shop that wasn't going to be too hard to cut through or soft that it will break. I used this 3M 2 part compound to glue the flat piece to the vcr head. I didn't want to screw it because I wanted to lay flat on the bottom of the control panel. Need less to say I've used that compound on fuel tanks before for emergency purposes till a new one came in. So I know it's a strong bond after both surfaces are scuffed up a little.

The coupler is 1/4-20 which I drill out half of it just a hair bigger so I can press it on the shaft of the vcr head. On the other end I'm going to be using 1/4 inch threaded rod since 1/4 inch is the size of all the spinner knobs available to my knowledge.  The knob I'm using is this which I'm getting from Mc Master Carr.

Now I'm just trying to figure out a bracket to hold the mouse pcb in place. I was just testing it holding the pcb and spinning the wheel around. It was moving, but real slow so if anyone has any suggestions on what setting I need to adjust that would be great.
I had everything except knob $5.59 , couplers $3 and I got the encoder wheel printed for like $8 at a local shop. They printed 4 to a sheet. It was cheaper then buying or finding some transparent film. I forgot to mention I used hot glue to hold the cd center holder in place.

Here is the Axeman's site where I got the info from.
