Its an option I have considered but the only extra pc I have doesn't have a pci e slot for Arcade VGA and isn't fast enough to play sh3 Cave games correctly nor Brave Blade and a few others. I could get a transcoder and run groovymame, which is what I will likely do in my mame cab but for this project I'm keeping it Jamma so a i can learn all the skills. A newb like me must learn to run power, discharge monitors, do cap kits, perform simple board repair, wire a coin door, etc. Plus I am going to do my best to try and impress a few legends in the process. After all isn't that part of the draw of keeping a project thread? |
