Jamma 412 in 1 vs 619 in 1

Hello,

I’m looking to do a bartop soon.

After looking at the 412 in 1 jamma board that you could find on [site names redacted], I have learned that this board is only good with vertical game. That's ok with me because after looking at the list of vertical game, most of my favorite game are vertical. However, after more search, I have also found that I want a few horizontal games too (maybe around 20 games).

My understanding is that you get a jamma PCB board (the blue box) with 412 in 1 vertical game OR you get a jamma PCB board with only horizontal game like 500 in 1 or 512 in 1 or 619 ni 1.

I have just found a web site that have this :''2014 new game elf horizontal 619 in 1 CGA VGA Quality multi game board PCB NEW+ vertical 412 SD card
'' The description is not very clear. I have sent an email to seller but not luck. I have also found other board like that.

My question is: with those board, you only have to change the SD card (619 in 1 horizontal OR 412 in 1 vertical) to play the horizontal or vertical game using the same board, the same joystick, same everything?

I'm probably going to use a 4:3 monitor so I don't mind to play vertical or horizontal game with that kind of monitor.

If someone could confirm this

thanks a lot !!!

PS: I don't want to bluilt a mame.

I already had one and I sold it. I was always installing, deinsallting frontend (mala,mamewah,hyperspin...etc) and when i wanted to play, there was always something wrong. I think I have spend more time fixing it then playing !!!

This time, I want to get a multi game jamma board.

You're better off building a MAME, to be honest.
